French designer Florence Jaffrain has designed a beautiful sofa that glows. Reminiscent of a conch shell* (the Venus reclining on it does not, I guess, come with it) it s made of foam and photolumescent sensory fabric and, as well as looking damn good in your living room, the sofa breathes and releases fragrance into the air.
The Bellylove is inspired by Sarcophyton elegans, a soft coral found in the Indian Ocean, and can be found at the Slott gallery in Paris until February 12. Now then, if they had these in the press room at CES, you might find me there, snuggling up alongside the rest of the DVICE team!
*Or a baseball mitt, for the sporting heroes amongst you.
