*ECUST stands for East China University of Science and Technology (www.ecust.edu.cn). ECUST was set up in 1952 and originally named East China Institute of Chemical Technology. It was the first single-subject institute in China. It is one of the main shareholders of Huachang Polymer. It has very competitive scientific research teams based in many state-level key laboratories and engineering and technological research centers.

To satisfy the requirements of Energy-saving in recent years, we built the world largest resin reactors (18 tons per batch for vinyl ester resins and 36 tons per batch for unsaturated polyester resins) our 84 000 square meters plant in Shanghai Chemical
Industry Park, and at the same time we broadened our products lines to materials for windmill blades, high-speed railway and nuclear power plant applications. The support of these new businesses is our unique Technique Innovation System backed by ECUST.
